My '72 Demon hood stripes were removed at some point so I don't have that to go by.
I'm trying to replicate the factory process. It looks like the hood was painted, then the black matte center stripe was painted on. Then the vinyl stripes along the center stripe were applied with the innermost vinyl stripe overlapping the painted center stripe slightly. Is that correct? I would be surprised if the factory wasted body color paint under the center stripe.
