Anyone got a set of small bolt pattern disk brakes they want to get rid of? Im in need.

I have a factory 69 dart air conditioning setup if your interested in some kind of partial trade. or whatever i just need some brakes.. cant be doin a buck 10 down the 1/4 mile and drusting factory drums!

this is Mopar Charlie, I was wondering why you would consider the small bolt pattern disc brake set-up, since there isn't any parts available for them.

I have the Large Bolt Pattern disc brake set-up for sale

Charlie, there are lots of parts available for the small bolt discs. Some of it is expensive, but it's all available (you just have to be willing to shop a Mustang resto supplier for some of it..........).

V8 represents 8 cylinders in a V formation.
Pretzel logic... KH8 represents those brakes ? LOL
Sorry, I shouldn't repeatedly bad mouth that brake system.
Blame it on the time I spent rebuilding calipers in auto service.

the reason for the interest in small bolt pattern is the following.

limited funds....

in the end id like to have disk brakes all the way around with large bolt pattern. obviously offering more options for parts and wheel options..

but right now.. i have a beautiful set up cragers to bolt on and i dont want to break up the set. I just want to bolt them on and bolt on some disk brakes so i can take the car down the track without having to think about those old drums at the far end.

long term (more money) i would like to go with modern disk brakes all the way around this obviously makes more sense.

any thoughts? ideas? i already have the small bolt pattern cragers all the way around. Actually i havent even put them on yet. They would not be hard to get rid of.

the main problem i have is the bolt pattern. i dont want mis matched wheels. If i upgrade the bolt pattern on the front with modern brakes then i have to address the rear. and get a new set of wheels.

anyway you get my basic dilema.. any thoughts or commets are welcome.

I feel your pain, and am in the same dilema.I have a set of small bolt Rallyes, and a set of small bolt 5.5" powder coated steelies. Both with new radials, with small bolt Kelsey disc brakes on the car.Would love to go big bolt.

The later (73-up) disc's are the way to go.Parts are much more available and much cheaper.

I guess sooner or later you just have to bite the bullet and go for the big bolt disc's and big bolt axles.

It looks like you have a set of rallyes, plus Cragers.Selling those would put you in good shape for the big bolt upgrade. Then you have a plethera (did I just say plethera ?) of wheel choices.

I have an entire set up available. Its off of a '72 Demon.
Let me know if you're interested.

....car Gt but it's smoking. You might see what is burning. Looks like it's coming from the trunk area. Good luck on the brakes.
