We have lost one of my all-time favorite performers, Dickey Betts. Whether solo or his decades with the Allman Brothers, I could listen to him endlessly. RIP sir, you made a difference in this world.

Sad to here. He was my biggest influence when I started playing almost 50 years ago. Great tone, great melodic structure and just a bad *** jammer. RIP

Agreed! The Allman Brothers were some of the best concerts going back then. You got your money's worth for sure!
RIP Dickey. I saw him with the Brothers (my favorite band) and his solo bands many times. He was a great guitarist/performer! Also, his character was the lead actor in that Camreon Crowe movie, Almost Famous.
