Did 68 Darts come with shoulder belts

A saw a pair of shoulder belts on ebay listed for a 68 Dodge Dart.

It's been 30 years since I had my original GTS, so I cant remember if it had shoulder belts or not. The 68 GTS that I recently bought only has lap belts, and I dont see any place that should belts could have been mounted.

Were shoulder belts available on 68 Darts?

no, there wasnt,

Yes, they were optional. They mount up by the coat hangers and are stored by clicking the buckle into a connector that is part of the sun visor anchor.

Data books show availability starting in 1967, cannot find any reference to them in 1966 book.

Optional in '68, required in '69. Head rests were also required on cars built on or after January 1, 1969.

My new 68 Dart has them - I was laughing at this - has been awhile since I drove a Dart.
