Hemi Under Glass had some type of truck,industrial diff that was used.
Hard to explain .It was some sort of reverse rotation deal.

Quick change rears had an up & down oval cover. That way you could swap the top & bottom gear to whatever ration was available. They were quite the innovation for the time. I believer Schiefer was one of the original companies.
