I've just completed rebuilding the center section of a 489 case 8 3/4. I've installed a Yukon Pow-R-Lok Street posi unit, and it's time to put the rear end back in the car. The ring and pinion gears and axles are all new from Strange. I was planing on using Royal Purple 70w-90 synthetic differential lube, but some have suggested to me that the Royal Purple doesn't work well with clutch-type posi units such as the Yukon. Red Line was suggested, but what has been your experience?
