Hi Guys (and Gals):
I am interested in converting a 1974 Valiant sedan to front disc brakes. I do not have a junkyard anywhere near me that is likely to have any parts I could use for the conversion, so I am thinking about purchasing a kit. Has anyone had any particularly good or bad experiences with the various manufacturers offering conversion kits?
Or, alternately, would anyone recommend simply purchasing the necessary parts -- discs, calipers, proportioning valve -- individually?
I've never really minded drums, but having tag-teamed my A-body with a disc-equipped B-body the past few years, the advantages of discs have become more apparent.
Thanks,
Jeff
