Anybody have a source for the 2 pin flat connector for the electronic distributor?

Every manufacture of those plugs make them a little different. I’ve got a few that are perfect fit but difficult to get together at first. Some will not go together at all.
Some have 12 ga wires and some as small as 18ga.
In other words- ya got to look around as one size does not fit all.

Yep, Lowes home builder stores have them in the trailer wiring Dept.

Hopkins 2 Flat

Lots of auto parts stores can order them in too.

Can you post a photo of that one plugged into a Chrysler pickup?

This is an example what we're talking about when say they generally fit even though they are the same type.
Not a good connection and not a good seal.

You can cut the Mopar long boot back 1/8" if you want it to push on farther.

They are making contact though.

Thanks George.
Personally I would never cut a correct original in good condition to make it fit an aftermarket item. Well never is a strong term but you know what I mean.

The answer is out there. The connector was used in other applications by Chrysler and AMC and IIRC comes on replacement 5 pin ECU pigtails.

Thanks guys, I have tried the trailer connectors and they don't fit correctly. So If I have to improvise, I'll just use a 2 pin weather-pak connector. At least they are a current "standard".

If you still need one, I found this in my electrical box. I'm happy to toss it in the mail free of charge if you can use it. It's the longer one and mates perfectly to an electronic distributor pickup. Wire gauge is pretty small though.
