Yes that's a stock VB plate. Whether it has a shift improver kit installed is another thing because most kits just have you drill out a couple holes in the stock plate and change a spring or two

Thanks. This is my first time cracking open a Chrysler transmission. Looking at the date code it’s a ‘73, and A-904-LA cast in the case. I figure it’s just a run of the mill 904. It came out of a full size car going into a ‘70 Duster. Anything I need to be concerned with compatibility wise? It’s replacing a /6 904. Thanks again!

Not as long as your installing a small block too
