do i need a new pick up for a 2" tranny pan

got my tranny built, but now I want to put a 2" deep tranny pan on it . do I need a different pickup and a deeper dipstick like in the motor all the info I find says I am good and I cant find a 2"pan and pick-up kit . and am I better to go with the new flex plates or is the old 1 still fine ,im at about 420 hp with a 2800-3200 stall thanks for any help

most deep pans will come with a spacer for the deeper pan...

and no...you use the same dip stick...you fill it to the full mark....the deep pan adds more fluid to run cooler.

Hey Jon. The stock dipstick should be good with the deep pan. All you would be doing is adding capacity on the bottom side. More fluid, better cooling...i think you're good.
