Do I need a Shift Kit

I bought a TurboAction Manual/Automatic valve body for my BB 727. My question is will I see any improvements by installing a shift kit (like a trans go kit) or is upgrading the valve body enough? I thought I read somewhere that a shift kit is something you do with a factory valve body when you want firmer shifts but an aftermarket valve body already has the shift kit built into it.

the valve body already has the guess work done for you. I used one of those turbo action valve bodies. it works great! my 727 had a stock slow shift valve body major improvement with turbo action unit!:burnout:
