I have one here….

This came out of a 68 Dart that has one of the early 5 speed Tremec TKO transmissions as part of a Keisler kit.

You can see the adapter on the mounting face.

I can’t find a casting number.

It had no boot to cover the clutch fork hole.

It wouldn’t be hard to make one though.

I don’t have a lot of experience with manual transmission stuff but I would think Ma Mopar would have put casting numbers in everything, stamping numbers in the stamped metal parts and tags on everything else.
Are they supposed to have numbers somewhere?

I have 2 a body small block bellhousings, both of them have them under the adapter you have. They live in between the bellhousing and the trans once its all bolted up. A quick google search confirms that

Greg was asking on my behalf; the front inspection cover has been missing since I bought the car. I don't want to separate the adapter from the bell. Greg has a cover in his stash from another tranny that can be manipulated to work on this one.
That bell needs some heavy duty cleaning before it goes back in the car.

Not sure what you are asking here, it is a Keiseler part not a factory part so it will not have a casting number on it...

The adapter/cover where the transmission itself mounts is a Kiesler part. The bell housing itself looks like a reproduction or original part.
The main reason for the question was to satisfy Silver Sport Transmissions. This bell had no bottom cover nor one where the fork rod/hydraulic clutch line passes through. It was the man at SST that wanted a casting number to be able to order the correct covers for it.
A workaround is being developed, one that should do the job just fine.

Well if it does have a casting number then you need to remove the adapter as it would be on the face of the bellhousing under the adapter...
