There was a thread "Classic Industries charging $18 to ship a speedo gear". Was this deleted by the moderators? I can't find it. Did the subject violate the rules? I'm relatively new to this forum and I am curious. I am not angry. Thanks

Yes the thread was closed. The original poster was complaining about a vendor charging what he thought was too much for shipping. A member jumped in and offered a part, the money changed hands and the op got what he needed. I treated this thread like any wanted thread and closed it when the part was found and the transaction was complete. If you are looking for a part new or used start a wanted thread and read and follow the rules there. It's all good to help a fellow member with a needed part but these sales in the middle of general threads are getting out of hand.
