Yes, I drive a new Lincoln now. It's great car and don't plan to trade for a while. It's surprisingly pretty quick too for a boosted V6!!!

The only other Ford I've owned was an '85 T-Bird 30th Anniversity Edition. It had every conceivable factory option and all were standard. I think they made about 1100 of them. It was one of the first 30 cars built in Loraine, OH and had the 5.0 Mustang HO motor. The rest had the 5.0 passnger car motors. An absolute stop light terror! I had no complaints with that car the two years I drove it. I went through rear Goodyear Gator Back tires like water.

I even worked for Ford back in the early eighties when "Quantity was Job One". There is no spelling error folks. I wrote "quantity" purposely. If we didn't get 62 cars out in an hour there was hell to pay. Most cars ended up in final finish to get rebuilt. Aww, the good old days!!!!

I have to admit, building a Cobra is on the bucket list. A buddy of mine just got the new factory five kit and I'm going to help him with his. MMG

'68 Galaxie XL (Daily driver when it's not broken), '74 F-100 (farm & parts runner).

I've also owned; '76 Granada (terrible), '77 F-250 (good), '85 t-bird supercoupe (epic - supercharged v-6, got me a points-reduction class), '66 Galaxie 500 (owned it for 1 day when I was 15. left a black mark from our driveway a good 100'. When Dad got home, the car was no longer mine) '92 Crown Vic (fell asleep, hit a power pole going aprox 50mph, still made it to work on time. GREAT car!) '87 escort (un-topped it. FUN)

FF

What is that ???......is it FWD or RWD ???.....4, 6 or 8 cylinders ????
Is it available in Manual transmission ???

I'm wondering what Ford Australia is going to replace the Falcon with......speculation is 2012 will be the end of the Falcon.

I personally just love any make of AMERICAN BUILT old cars. Usually anybody that is hard core about one make of cars is, well, it's their problem... :walk:

Well My 1986 Ford F150 pulled all my mopars to my homestead.
Old Farm Truck,I bought in auction over 10 years ago.1986 was bad year for the 4.9L
due to computer controlled carb and emissions,MAP sensor, and o2sensor.
Removed computer and all computer controlled items.Installed offy manifold,Holley 390 cfm carb ,EFI exhaust manifolds and older dist with ignition box on the fender.
It needs to be painted ,right now probably WIN an ugliest truck award but it is my work horse with gas prices of today....
Also own 1970 F250 390 V8 AND 1971 FORD F250 360 V8
