I think that looks great, actually. I've always detested how the rear of the Dusters tracked so much narrower than the front. Makes them look stupid, IMO. I think the track widths should at least be even, if not favor the rear just a tad.

I agree with Brian that they need to come in a little, but not much. I also agree with you that the stock setup on a Duster looks funky.

It does. It reminds me of some of these guys that do the big tire thing on the rear. They almost always end up with the tires too far in. Looks dorky.

The problem with Dusters/Demons/Dart Sports is they all have a large step/bump in the outer wheelhouse. If you run a big tire all the way out to the quarter lip the tire rubs on the wheelhouse unless you jack the back end way up in the air.

I don't like um TOO far up, but I do prefer some rake.

Thanks for chiming in Bryan. I found this place on a different thread and they will change the backspace on the steel wheels above for $175 each plus shipping (both ways). At that price I only want to do it once.

As 72bluNblu mentioned, bump in outer wheelhouse is a main point of interference. I had an A body 8.25 under my Duster at first. With 15x8, 4.5 BS and 275/60 , I had plenty of room to the outside but was very close to the spring and inner wheelhouse and would sometimes rub on corners. I got an 8.75 rear and narrowed it to stock A body width (52&5/8), DD BBP axles for A body along with the DD offset hangers. Now I have plenty of room to wheelhouse and springs but rub the outside on hard bumps. If I were to do it over, I would cut the housing a little narrower , maybe 52.0. My car has a rake but sits down over the tires.

Wow! So with this offset kit we can get 15x8's with 4.5" backspace?! I've always wondered about this. I even asked here before and no one gave me a clear answer. I have 15x7 rallys but need thst extra width to fill the rear of my dart. So I will get me some 15x8 rallys whenever I get cash. However, I have the mopar offset kit is clearance the same? I wonder.
 
It's not clear in the picture from his website, probably just a bad angle. But if you look at the picture right above, you can clearly see the offset in the front spring hanger.

Yep, but the pics of the rear shackles on Dr. Diff's site look straight instead of having the zig-zag for an offset.
 
Can one of yall post a CLEAR picture of how Dr Diff's kit keeps you from making a hole in the frame rail?
 
RRR the bolt used is shaped like a deck screw with an Allen head and goes into a chamfered hole. Sits nice and flush. Of course it has to be assembled to the spring before the hanger is bolted to the sub frame.
