Very cool to see another Dart Lite!
Here is my own 76 Dart Lite, this one is an automatic.

Still hunting down parts, might have found a drivers fender here in Dallas.
I fought the front bumper yesterday.
I could not get the bumper bolts off so out came the air chisel.
Dang that was a lot of work.
Now to get the re-enforcement straight and welded.

In his damn s-10 he started cleaning to sell.
In the floor board.
Can't make this s up.
We pushed the s-10 out in the street to get to the Lite.
They were right there.

My father had a Spirit of '76 dart lite a few years ago, even made it in a magazine. Would love to find someone selling a hood for one.

Let me guess, the PO was from C.a or Az.?????
Disclaimer: No disrespect meant from anyone from Ca. or Az.!!!!!! :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :BangHead: :poke:

Lol. If you have a decent body guy the aluminum bracing can be grafted to a 70-72 hood...

That's getting pretty crafty! I suppose the feather hoods aren't as easy to work with? I seen one of those come up forsale not too long ago on FB.

A Feather Duster Hood and a Dart Lite hood are different.
If the bracing is different, I do not know, but I would think they are different.
Remember you need the light weight hood springs also.
I am wondering if the hood spring on the header panel is different also.

Hey FABO!
Making a little progress.
I have been sanding on the fender, it had been blasted and left in the storage shed.
Due to a self inflected injury I am not setting the world on fire.
I did receive the the 73 Nose Cone and Grill today.
I got it mounted and it looks good.

A lot better than the crunched original part.
Had a little bend in the radiator frame.
BFH took care of that.
Hood lines up nice now.
I located a front bumper in Fort Worth last night.
Once I get the fender primed I will fit that part.

I also think the 73 grill looks a lot better than the 76.
What do y'all think?
Not going to change what I do, just wondering.

Yes, the 73/74 grille is nicer looking than the 75/76 grille...in my opinion anyway.

The 1973 grill looks best. I was glad No one wanted lowly nose car parts. So even NOS parts were plentiful and cheap.
The 1973 has a cleaner look than the 1974 up
