Dodge van door handles on an A-body?

Might seem like a silly thing to do, but has anyone tried to see if the later plastic door handles off the B-vans fit A-bodies?

Dont know about plastic, but I have used the external handles from late 70s through 80s trucks and b vans o a bodies. I seem to recall that there is a linkage part attached to the handle that needs to be changed.

Just wondered, looks like they might work, maybe change the linkage. Just for a different look, and almost every a-body I've had, has had pitted chrome on at least one of the chrome door handles.
