Nova means (no-go) in spanish. They could not sell them in mexico. Who would buy a car that was called no go lol.
HMMMm......Food for thought.......They kept the Alpine's 51/49 front/rear weight ratio with the ford small block.....wonder what the 383 would do to that.....Damn all that. Put a 383 in it. Distributor problem solved.
67 Sunbeam Alpine. The earlier cars didn't have the pentastar. This one showed up on craigslist for $250. I couldn't pass it up. Only one problem.....the rear mounted distributor on a SBM won't clear the cowl/firewall, that's why mopar discontinued the Tiger....they didn't want a car on their lots with "powered by ford" badges on them. Soo...Lemmee seee........no motor or trans, I only have $250 in it, I have torches, sawzalls, and welders, there's a retired 86 F150 work truck with a 351w HO 4bbl sitting at my shop...HMMMM....little wheels are turning and smoke is coming out of my ears!
My 63 Dart had a similar issue. Just had to think around the box! What's you talkinn bout distributor?67 Sunbeam Alpine. The earlier cars didn't have the pentastar.
