I said radiator CAP, NOT thermostat There are several different pound caps.

that was a reply to the poster that "did" mention a thermostat , "160 compared to a 180" ...

Man,I can only imagine the Internet arguments that occurred when Ford came out with the thermosiphon system on the model T.

Everybody knows that big rear tires and a jacked up rear end helped a car be cooler because the tilt has gravity assist the coolant to the radiator.

Well, "most" of the time anyway.
