hmm...if you had a company fleet and routinely changed your oil at 5 or 6k the oil indicator coming due up to 10k could represent quite a savings..or even if you have only 3 vehicles at home it could be worthwhile.
I change mine 2x a year and in the Fall it's usually at 50-60% life left. I only due it in Oct to avoid the harsh winter of Chicago in Jan.- Feb. I would love to do it once a year. I hate the hassle of doing it on the ground being 47 years of old age.What do you think about the Kevin harvick commercial about the synthetic oil you change once a year. And why is he 3 inches tall
I trust factory intervals, on maintenance... They built the damn vehicle, with longevity in mind.
Funny true story. The Harvicks built a multi million dollar mansion not far from where I live. A couple of years ago at Christmas they decided to have a fire in the fireplace for a party. Kevin removed the gas logs and started a wood fire. That didn't work very well and did a lot of damage to the basement.
