I've done 6K oil changes in my 07 CTD. Has 251K to date. No Leaks,no burning of oil. I don't run synthetic. I've used 15-40 Rotella since new.

hmm...if you had a company fleet and routinely changed your oil at 5 or 6k the oil indicator coming due up to 10k could represent quite a savings..or even if you have only 3 vehicles at home it could be worthwhile.
Besides my '73 Dart Sport 340 (360), l love our new '17 Honda Civic Hatchback turbo. I follow OLM which goes to about 5-6K between changes for my other Accord. Engines never have to be touched.
Oil change stickers are worthwhile too. Have been for like 100 years.
I change mine 2x a year and in the Fall it's usually at 50-60% life left. I only due it in Oct to avoid the harsh winter of Chicago in Jan.- Feb. I would love to do it once a year. I hate the hassle of doing it on the ground being 47 years of old age.
I trust factory intervals, on maintenance... They built the damn vehicle, with longevity in mind.

Funny true story. The Harvicks built a multi million dollar mansion not far from where I live. A couple of years ago at Christmas they decided to have a fire in the fireplace for a party. Kevin removed the gas logs and started a wood fire. That didn't work very well and did a lot of damage to the basement. They moved to the Charlotte area, made the repairs and sold the house.
