I've got a 65 173 Dart that I just did the timing chain, TC Cover, Heads and rebuilt the carb on. I want to convert it to disc brakes using factory pieces from the bone yard. Can you guys steer me to where I can find what model and year Chrysler vehicles will work for donor parts? Thanks guys.

I would recommend the 73 and later disk brake set up off the A body cars like Darts and Dusters. The only problem is you need the bigger bolt patern wheels to run them. They are good brakes and the ball joints and brake parts are much cheaper for the 73+ model year cars.

Like was said, do a search on this site for more information on the needed parts.

For a factory setup.....if you want to keep the same bolt pattern......'66-72 A-body KH brakes. If you want to change to the 4 1/2" pattern, use the '73-6 brakes along with the upper control arms.

Keep it simple, keep it early 66-72, keep it SBP. Sure the 4 piston calipers are expensive, but the bone yard is all the same price anyway. You can use your old LBJ (drill out 1/2 hole to 9/16) and the upper A arms. All you need is the spindle, rotor, caliper and backing plate. Go to dual disc/drum M/C while your at it. Worked for me.
