Well, it's now a daily driver. For the last 2 weeks I've been driving it everywhere. \\/
Since November it's had the following:
==================
- dual exhaust
- new 14" steel wheels
- new radial tires (one exploded on the way home from buying it)
- new wiper motor
- new motor mounts
- new trans mount
- new shocks
- new blinker switch
- new horn relay
- rebuilt the 2 bbl carb
- oil change
- new plugs and air filter
- rebuilt heater box
- new fuel tank pickup
- a ***SERIOUS*** cleaning
Still needs:
==========
- full front end rebuild along with:
- - installation of 73 Duster LBP Front disc parts (have it)
- - installation of 73 Duster LBP rear end (have it)
- - installation of 14"x6" aluminum slots with current tires. (have it)
- new fuel tank pickup (have it)
- headliner
- seat covers (all)
- working radio
- rebuilding of used AFB carb (have it)
- installation of carb on Edelbrock performer intake (have it)
- puke can for radiator overflow
- installation of heater vents and hose kit (have it)
Big thanks to my buddy Mike for the car and tons of help and motivation. His garage is a much better workspace than the street in front of my house.
Also a super big thanks to Doug at Automotive Machine and Repair in Sterling, VA. If you need a competent shop and a square deal, that's the place.
Where it started...
Here's with new (but unpainted) shoes... Lots tougher look!
