Door Bolts

Were door and fender bolt heads painted the body color on an A body?
I guess they had to be if the car was assembled before it was painted in the factory...
Just wonderin' what color I'm painting mine before I put the doors back on.

All sheet metal incl doors, hood, trunk lid, front valence and rear valence were mounted before the paint was applayed. So all bolt, nuts, adjusting shims and such was painted too.

Yes they were body color...... and I'm pretty sure the doors were mounted on the car at the factory first, then painted.
