Door handle linkage bolt

I need to find this screw/bolt so I can get my door handle working again. The linkage that goes from the lock mechanism to the door handle button isn't attached and is just hanging down inside the door. I need the size of the little screw/bolt that holds it to the door frame where it is supposed to sit. Has this happened to anyone before? It's not fun!

Okay, I found it. I am going to post a write up when I get this done with pics because this is about the toughest repair I've had to do. Worked for 2 and a half hours tonight and only progress was getting the push button back in the door. Last hour was spent fishing this little freaking screw out from the door latch assembly :banghead:
