drive shaft length

i have a 73 dart sport with a 727 8 3/4 set up. anyone no the length? and how much longer is a drive shaft from a 727 8 1/4?

What is mild ? and what is upgraded joints ?

its a mild built 440, crank, flat top pistons, moderate cam, intake, carb, and fully ported heads. Upgrade joints meaning the bigger u-joints

If you want the bigger joints then you need a new shaft. Now what's bigger joints ? What do you have now, 7260 or 7290 series.
Or was the shaft already done previously and it has 1310 or 1330 or 1350

mild, moderate.... kinda hard interpretations..

My idea of mild is 600, but less then 700, moderate is 700 to 900, comfortable is 900 to 1300, keeping close attention is 1400 and up
