I am doing a rear end swap in my 67 Dart (273/904) from 7-1/4 to 8-3/4. I have drive shaft that should work length wise, but after pulling the stock yoke, I am questioning WHY the slip joint is so long.
Cause they made different lengths for different applications. Won’t hurt a thing as the longer the yoke the more spline engagement the more stable the yoke will be. Kim
