Hi all -

I need to remove the drivers fender to easily get to the hood hinge and then work on the underside of the fender some. Would you pass on some removal tips for me here? I could SWAG it, I'm sure, but thought I'd ask in case there was a "better" way or order of unbolting all the hardware or neighboring pieces.

I've got the next three days off and figured I'd get this done before it gets too chilly out!

Hi there Geo,
we are currently restoring a 69 swinger and 69 GTS and we have had to take off the body panels MANY times for fitment. There are a few bolts along the top of the inner fender, two nuts on the bottom of the fender side by side facing away from the car and finally, one tricky bolt on the bottom, inside of the fender near the door area, back about 1 1/2 - 2 inches. The best way to get to this bolt being to use a long extension on a ratchet, open the door and put the ratchet and extension in trough the door hinge opening. Hope this helps.
