So, When I turn my lights on in my 76 Plymouth duster the headlights and the passenger side running light turn on but not the driver side, but the turn signal still works on both sides and I was wondering if anyone has anyone dealt with this before

Sounds like your park light lubricant has failed. But your blinker fluid is fine. Any NAPA can fix you up.

FYI. This from the 1976 Service manual electrical section. Owners manual will have the same.

1157NA is an amber lamp.

Also for future reference keep in mind that 1976 cars have a different power supply scheme than other years. So if you see generalizations about the main circuit, know yours is different. Lights and turn signals circuits are pretty much done the same as other years.

check that the bulb isn't inserted 180 out.

Use a test light on both terminals in the socket to verify power to each.
