Drivers side mirror question

I just bought a remote control drivers side mirror for my dart.
I installed it tonight and the control cable isn't long enough to allow the window to roll down.
I'm guessing that it is for a 72 or older with the wing window. I'm using 74 doors with the one piece window.
Ad said it came off of a 74 dart but I don't think so. Anyone know if there's a difference?

Yup. The one you need has longer cables, just as you guess.

If the seller took it off a '74 Dart 4dr, it would have the short cables too....like the '67-72 2DRHT models.

yup yup 4 door cars had the vent window while the 2 doors did not if you still need a mirror im sure I can find you one if you pay shipping

I have a long cable mirror here. if You have super nice chrome and glass you might want to move the cable assembly from on to the other.
