I'm selling the entire drivetrain and most of the interior from my '67 Valiant. The 225 slant six engine, clutch and 4 speed trans are out and ready to be picked up. Soon I'll also be selling the entire front and rear suspensions, and the complete rear axle. Other misc items like the master cylinder, heater, ign module, seats, etc are also up for grabs.
The motor is original to the car, and as near as I can tell it has 140,000 miles on it. It runs decent but it burns oil and the rear main seal leaks. I'd like to get 400 bucks for the engine, clutch and trans, but will entertain offers.
I won't ship anything that weighs over 20 pounds. Local buyers would be best.
Everything is for sale, best offer takes it.

New information thanks to a knowlegable FABO member...
I had several inquiries on the transmission. It apparently is an overdrive unit, with "83" cast into the side cover. Means nothing to me, but it may help someone else out. Also, there is only one shifter mounting pad.

UPDATE:
The slant six K-member and DISC BRAKES, proportioning valve, torsion bars, and the GM 10 bolt rear axle and leaf springs, driveshaft, front bench seat, standard master cylinder, and other misc items are now out of the car and available for sale. I know the disc brake K-member is going to sell fast so make your offer count!
I would like to sell as much of the stuff in one lump as possible, so make me some offers. I do not want to sell bits and pieces. You buy the engine with the clutch and bellhousing - and transmission too if possible. Same thing for the front and rear ends. I'm not going to sell stuff individually, I want to sell it as assemblies.
Open to offers, local pick-up only. Pictures in a day or two as time permits.

Another update... As I get deeper into the car, I have found a lot of non-original parts, despite what the seller told me. The 4-speed overdrive transmission looks like it's a 1975 or later A833 with the 5.125" input bearing retainer, and the matching cast aluminum bellhousing. According to the build records, the car came from the Los Angeles plant with a \6 and a three on the tree transmission.
The rear axle I took out is a GM non-posi 10 bolt, in good shape, with drum brakes and the cars original leaf springs.

Bump... Now have OEM radiator, fan and fan clutch for sale as well.
