I've got a 72 Duster 340, converting from 4" drums to 4 1/2" bolt pattern discs. Does anyone know if the spindles on the drum system will work for this conversion, and if not what will, and if I need them does anyone out there have spindles that will work for sell

not for factory bbp disc for 73-76 a bodies. you need that specific spindle.

You'll need the upper control arms, the spindles, caliper stands and proportioning valve off of a 73-76 disc brake car. You can get he calipers and drums new and relatively cheap at any local parts house.

As stated you NEED the A body 73 to 76 UCA's, or tubular after market (my recommendation, much more adjustment if you don't ride at stock height) for the same application. Everything else can come from a 73 to 76 A body, OR F, M, or J body. I am running F body spindles on my 63 Dart and they work just fine.

Factory parts you need to swap spindles.

IIRC, Wilwood has a set up that has both bolt patterns in the rotor. That set up will bolt up to the drum spindle.
