Scrolling through YouTube, I see Hal Blaine dies. I look at the date. 1 day ago. How did I miss this? This cat played on everything.

Funny that you posted this. I literally just found this out on youtube and wondered how I missed it. I have been drumming since I was 14 years old and Hal Blaine was my biggest influence without me realizing it, because back then, no one knew who were on all those hits. RIP Hal!

I remember trying to play like him on my first Ludwig set. 7 piece with Concert toms like Hal had.
