In a tree near you.
All said and done, the customer paid 1.5 million for it.
We installed radar/laser diffuser protection.
Not radar jammer=illegal, just detector with laser jamming.
Here's a link from Moparts I started.
I'm the handsome devil in the dark shirt, the other guy is my brother in law.

OK John I'll be the one to step out and ask "What the heck is that thing?"
Who makes it?
What kind of motor, hp, etc..?

It's a Bugatti Veyron.
It has a 1001 horsepower v-16.

There are a couple good links on youtube under Bugatti veyron where you can see the test drive and hear all the goodies.

1001 HP!
Yep, top speed over 270 MPH.

The customer had it on an airstrip in France before he picked it up.

Got it up to 150MPH and wa told to let go of the wheel and nail the brakes.

The car came to a complete stop in less than ten seconds and the car stayed straigt and the steering wheel did not waiver a bit.

The wheels are rated at 253 MPH, but the car will do over 270.

The chunk of carbon fiber under it is probably worth more then any car I have ever owned.

Not at all.
I'm so used to working on exotics. I just take my time and think before every move I make and I never screw up.

You had better knock on wood.

i don't know if i had 1.5 mill burning a hole in my pocket i may buy one of the machines that i work on, that way i could at least go fishing with it.

Top speed is incredible with this new age muscle, but like the old ones, cant take a turn at those high speeds. At least that is what I have heard from a few people and magazine articles.

there are not many places in this country, let alone the world where you could use that car to its fullest potential.

what a waste of 1.5 million IMHO ;-)

Congratulations cudaspaz!!
It does take confidence to approach a car like that.
You must be at the top of your game and know what you are doing.
I am sure you ave a good security system where ever the car is at.

Here is my security system and he stays at the top of his game and is confident too.
You should be proud!!

That's an incredible car!! I enjoyed the video on youtube with the guy getting the car up to 407kph. I don't think that I would be able to do the commentary that he was able to do and drive at the same time. I was getting nervous just watching him.

Really cool car though, thanks for sharing with us.

cudaspaz, I have a good friend that lives in Cumming GA, on Old Atlanta Rd.

This is exactly what I was thinking.
Is this some type of investment that will be worth more next year?
I know that happens.
Won’t there be a “faster” car in the future?
Nothing is static.
Why then?
I mean, in 99.9 percent of the United States there is a speed limit.
(Assuming he isn’t moving to some place like Germany.)
Even with enforcement defeating capabilities, how fast is he going to go?
90?
100?
If he goes 120, he could do it in that Viper for a lot less.
Is he going to go 170?
200?
IF he gets caught going that fast, will even a good lawyer help him?
And all of that ignores the blatant disregard for other’s safety that might be on the road with him.
Maybe he owns a racetrack.
(At what speed is the fire bottle and helmet required at the drag strip?)
What is the thought process?
“I can’t drive most anywhere over 80 mph, but I could go 250 if I really, really, really wanted to.”

I loved the Dart comment that said he could take him. I laughed out loud.
I saved my Dart Sport junkyard interior piece, by piece.
I put the engine, transmission and rear end out of an 86 Cop car under it.
I drove it from Georgia to Seattle and spent three years with out there driving it.
I drove it back.
I drive it daily 40 miles across town.
I get 23 mpg in it.
I get thumbs up every other day.
And I am not afraid to drive it because some stupid light is on.
(That speaks volumes)
I hardly ever check under the hood.
People yell at me on the interstate.
I can keep up with most anything on the road.

I don’t know.
But I am pretty sure I get as much or more enjoyment out of my daily driven Dart as he get out of his 1.5 million car.
