This picture is real - not doctored in any way - and was taken by aTransportation Supervisor for a company that delivers building materials for 84 Lumber.
When he saw it in the parking lot of IHOP, he went to buy a camera to take pictures. The car is still running, as can be witnessed by the exhaust. The driver finally came back after the police were called, and was found crouched behind the rear of the car, attempting to cut the twine around the load! Luckily, the police stopped him and had the load removed. The materials were loaded at Home Depot. Their store manager said they made the customer sign a waiver. While the plywood and 2X4's are fairly obvious, what you can't see is the back seat, which contains-are you ready for this? 10 bags of concrete at 80 lbs. each. They estimated the load weight at 3000 lbs. Both back tires exploded, the wheels bent and the rearshocks were driven through the floorboard.

That's outstanding!! Driver musta been raised wearing a bowtie!!! Probably bought all that lumber to build a birdhouse -- for a cuckoo!!!

If this is real, I would be more worried about the dumbass that loaded it!!! I find It hard to believe there are such dumb people in this world....LOL! How, Why,

I've seen that pic before and don't think it's real. Look at the angle of the load on top of the rear door. It's down into the window, which would make the window break. The roof would crush and the glass would break. Not to mention, those tiny strings would never be able to hold that load at that angle. I call BS and a photoshopped pic.

Not to mention, the front wheel is out-of-round and stretched. It's totally photoshopped.

Photo is real. I saw the car. It happened in Waldorf, Md. about 3 years ago in the autumn if I remember. The IHOP is on the NB side of US 301. Rubberneckers slowed down to look at it. It was towed off (w/o cargo) about 4 hours later.

:grin:He should have spent the extra money and got the three quarter ton jetta:grin:

Know we all should know!!! Every house hold needs a truck.
But in this guys case a brain would have helped:toothy7:

what a dumbass, he should've loaded it farther forward and used
more bungy straps!

I checked this one out on snopes.com myself and their are other photos of this dissaster. In one close-up there is actually a woman snoozing in the front passenger seat! Who is dumber, the sped who created this mess or the she-sped who is sleeping under it!?

I live in Maryland. I am sure that is one of the Maryland mush minds that voted for hard-left Martin O'Malley and is now surprised that he forced a special session of the General Assembly in order to enact the largest tax increase in the state's history. 60 billion dollars. That may even be one of O'Malley's campaign directors.

Wow... That really does take a special kind of stupid. *sighs and shakes head* Some people just shouldn't be allowed anything more than a non-motorized scooter.
