I’ve been on a mission to find 71 Duster bucket seats.
I have a set of 72 buckets but it was the year the seat backs had the springs molded into the foam n 72 foam isn’t Repop.
Classic Industries shows in their catalog 70-74 Challenger seat frames new. Looks like a good price being all new springs no sag n painted n no rust $329.99 ea. see attached pics. In Legendary catalog I see two places they advertise 70-71 A&E body seat foam under one part number. Then the other is 70-71 A,B&E body seat foam n both pics look like the same foam. So is the E body Challenger 70-74 frames from Classic Industries the same for 70-71 A body Dusters? Any one have a part number book that can verify 70-71 Challenger seat frame vs Duster 70-71 seat frames. If so then I can buy all new frames n foam.
FYI I saw a few buckets for sale two 71 Duster seats was $1225.00 n another pair was $800 all plus shipping. Problem was I couldn’t see if they were true 71’s n not 72’s, as they look alike with torn material, but 72 don’t have springs on the back n no repop foam for 72’s that I already have
