74 Duster as you know has the odd head liner.Has anyone done it or know any thing about replacing the head liner.I would like the headliner from the years that use the bows, can it be done, WHATS INVOLVED.thanks for any direction.

there would have to be a way....when we do head liners for vehicles that didn't have a factory suspended one we use 3/8 hollow alloy tube to make bows....it's easy to bend around something to curve the ends, mark and cut to length each bow from it's possition in the car, flatten the ends 2 inches and screw in place....any good trimmer then could make a liner to suit....I don't know now the original board finished around the screens on the Dusters as we didn't get them on Australia but the new liner would either fit to the car with the screens out or there would be a finishing rail around the screens with a pinch weld covering them.....talk to a local trimmer for his thoughts....
