Duster Slant 6 to V8 Conversion?

What would it take to convert a slant 6 duster to a small block v8? Would the k-frame need to be changed?

What about torsion bars? Is it work upgrading the suspension if I'm just going with a 318 or 360 ?

Either swap the K member, or get a conversion mount from Schumacher.

There are guys that run /6 t-bars with small block V8's, but that is mainly to get better weight transfer for drag racing. For street use, I personally would upgrade to a bigger t-bar.
 
i have the schumacher mounts-i mocked up the block and tranny-they fit perfectly in the bay.
