The Dutra Manifold is a Doug D.casting and has never been on a running engine. The rear manifold has been spray-painted oven silver.

Have you ever seen a factory slant six manifold? This is the original Dutra dual set up. You cut a factory manifold in half and weld a plug in. The Dutra manifold exhausts 1-2-3 the modified factory manifold exhausts 4-5-6. This keeps the intake heat riser intact so you don’t have the cold star issues or fueling pooling in the intake runners.
