Hi Folks

Has anyone ever dyed a Tuff steering wheel. If so, what did you use, how did it turn out, and were you happy with long term results and performance?

Got my dash in, and now the original wheel that I thought would be a good driver looks like crap (too light)
:(

I used vinyl “paint” on my buddy seat that is leather, it was removed from a 06 Ram then installed on my 56 Dodge. One season on it but two years since I did it and I’m happy with it . Should work well on steering wheel you might have to re~paint every now and then.

It looks pretty close to the dash pad.

Have you tried cleaning it real good?

How is the finish?

The can vary from slick, to porous foam.

I guess the stuff doesn't look too bad for 50 years old. I tried cleaning the dash, but the dark black didn't come back. What would you recommend for a good cleaning product for both? Maybe I shouldn't have powder coated the dash frame.

The wheel sure doesn't feel like foam.
