Very nice. Will you be able to keep it that cool at the track? I'm guessing alcohol.

I was expecting some good numbers with the head flow, but 1.5 hp/C.I. That’s pretty amazing… But that torque curve is really impressive!

Should be a runner, nice #'s all around.

Awesome dart9ss, what's the story with the car (details) weight, trans, ya know the other stuff.
It looks like a bad *** !!!
hope to make the solid roller I bought from you proud next year, & thanks again by the way!

69 dart a arm front clip engine set back 5 inch's. ladder bar,14x32, 4.30 gear, dana 60 powerglide, transbrake , 2785 with driver, certified to 8:50 . had this car 40 years , thanks for asking. That cam I went 9 : 01 shifting at 6700 went thru the traps at 6700. Its easy on valve train matter of a fact I'm using the same spring with the new cam which were installed in 2015 . send me a picture of you ride.

That's bad ***, Mine is just a shell being built in my garage.
Weather is getting better so progress will be made. My goal for mine is 10.00 .
I need to start a thread I guess.

Yea you do. And make the rat start one on the dyno progress

I`d turn the oil pressure down to 70 psi ,more hp. I run 70 at 7200rpm

And what type of rocker is being used, how much valve spring load there is and probably a couple of things I’m forgetting.

At 8500 I was at 105 psi and it made more power than at 90 psi.

The bushed rockers and 800 plus over the nose didn’t like the lower oil pressure.

Oh yeah, the cam bearings looked better with the pressure up there too.

If you have needle bearing rockers you can run a bit less pressure. Maybe.

all in time. I learned years ago from the old guys " pay attention to the details" good things will happen with time! 10: 00 is a fun ride!

I have the Huges set up no bearings. Its a dual line milodon. last year normally I came thru the traps at 76 lbs at 6700 with 30-50 weight oil once it was hot! cold oil would go over 100 lbs. Ive had this system for 7 years no issues with bearing. Dont know if there's a hp loss but I will look into after I get the car back together and dialed in. Not in a rush to make any changes till that point. springs are set up by Porter racing. Confident its all good.

The OP is on par where the pressure should be at higher RPM, I wouldn't change it.
I like to see 70 psi at 6500, a little higher doesn't hurt.

Yup. With non roller rockers you will kill power very quickly with oil pressure that’s too low.

Also, we need to remember that what pressure is on the gauge is way, WAY less than what’s at the bearings, and it’s even less up at the rocker shafts.

These aren’t Chevy engines.
