dyno testing

anyone here know of where i may find someone who can dyno test a 225 slant 6 - i am a canadian on the west coast of British Columbia
 
what do you mean? just put it on an engine dyno and run it? Tune it on the dyno? we have both a chassis and engine dyno near by.
 
Doubt he wants to drive clear from BC to AZ, LOL

There are alternatives. Buy yourself a wideband O2 setup and a G-tech
 
Wideband O2 sensor, google it. Innovate and others make kits some of them have data logging features so you can "make a run" and see what happened

G-tech is a data logging accelerometer which gives you additional info. These are great, and you can find them used, occasionally

Here's what all this gets you. You might spend 200 bucks on an O2 setup. Buy a G-tech for whatever, new, used. So you'll have some money into it.

But once you get the car tuned, you can remove the O2 and even use on a different car. All you need is to weld a sensor bung into the exhaust. These are same thread as an 18mm (Ford) spark plug, so you can get plugs for them.

The Gtech takes the place of a dyno, so to speak. It gives you acceleration info, and can mimic a 1/4 mile run, so you can "see" improvements or losses. The one thing it won't account for is wind conditions

So far as jetting the fuel system, you don't even really need the Gtech
