E-brake over or under exhaust?

Wondering were should the e-brake cable goes?
Over or under the exhaust?
I'm approching this step, and I just wanted to know which to install first.

Above, there's no way you'll get them below the exhaust and still have them work right.

Keep in mind with the brake set the cables get tighter. Mine pull right up tight against the floor when the brake is set. If they rub a little on the exhaust when the brake is released its not a big deal, they shouldn't be under that much tension when released.

thanks...are the e-cables rub on the exhaust?

Mine don't "hang" at all, after I replaced my rearend I adjust the slack out without putting tension on the cable.
