E-Brakes Question???

I am swapping out my 8 3/4 and putting in a 8 1/4 sure grip with 11" brakes. Will the e-brake cables from the 8 3/4 fit or do I have to use the ones I got with the 11" brakes?

Should work just fine. If it doesn't, there were a few '76 A bodies that were equipped with 11" brakes. Ask for a '76 Valiant with the cop/taxi package at the parts store.

I,m just wondering,why would you downsize to 8 1/4?(I know sure-grip)But could,nt you sell the 8 1/4 complete for $$$?Then get yourself a centersection with sure-grip?There for sale here all the time.Just seems easier,cause your gonna have to make some changes(u-joint,d.shaft)My 2 cents.

I got a great deal on the 8 1/4 and have everything to convert, so I am going to pull the 8 3/4 and slowly start uprading it to sure grip and BBP. Then I will sell the 8 1/4. But for now I want to drive the car and I am using adapters, but the tires are too wide and are rubbing.
