Did he build any other cars with those engines? I vaguely remember a Buick or Olds looking car with a long nose that had an Allison under the hood. I did see it one time at the Woodward Dream Cruise.
 
I grew up not far from Art Arfons. My wife went to school with is daughter "Dusty". He always has some craze stuff going on there!

I still have an engine crate that was used for shipping WW2 engines as a fire pit. Most of all the stuff is gone now. Anything that was able to get running was bought and shipped out when the movie Saving Private Ryan was made. There is still a few tanks there but they will never move again. It was a super cool junk yard to go through when I was growing up. :) I remember he did have big airplane engines too but I don't remember any aircraft fuselage structures there. They probably would have been to big so he just bought the engines.

I saw him here at the drags, had a V8 powered motor bike.
