Girlfriend keyed the car...? get rid of her...
Was the keying into the metal? sometimes it leaves a long indentation in the metal. Sure it can be fixed but its alot of work. Why I said "get rid of her" LOL!Previous owner's sons girlfriend..... I think he just kept the insurance money, and sold me the car As-is...... I pretty much started over....stripped her to the Bare metal, Epoxy Primer, Worked, sanded, Blocked, blocked, Black paint Guide coats, and blocked more ...side lines are STRAIGHT !!!!

235-60-15 rears,Senseless action....What is this world coming too. Sorry to the police community for your loss.
Great build and great eye for detail. What sized tires are you running?
I'll post what I have... There are some dimples in the floor that certain things line up to. I have some "after" shifter installed shots as well that can help. My console stands were still in the original floor piece when I Bought it, so that helped me. I also have an extra entire shifter set up if you need one....I'm in the process of converting to buckets & console as well..... do you have any more interior pictures or advise on locating shifter & console?

Here are some shots, I circled an area in Blue where you can see the two dimples at the front, and where the bracket is related to them, also, you can see the hole where the shifter rod has to go down through.... Hope this helps.I appreciate if you post the pictures for sure. I do have 100% of the requires parts for the job. Thanks though.
