We are going to do the BBP swap on Nikkis 66 Dart 4 door and she is looking for wheel ideas. She thinks ralleys are ugly and I don't want slotted mags so we are leaning towards factory steels painted body color with chrome rings , luggs and caps, full hub caps off of something else or some chrome baby moons. Whatever direction we go it will have whitewalls and it will also be slammed on the ground with 340 bars and 2" blocks in the rear.

Right now it has 14" factory wheels with 76 Duster full caps. This is an older pic with the old 13's

Everyone has small baby moons or dog dishes with trim rings, I would get some "original" Lancers, the originals don't fetch much because they are only 14 inch and you never see them on an A-Body. Spider caps and chrome lugs look good too.

Here's mine. They are 14" Dragway 5 spoke.

I have 4 hubcaps from a 62 Dart, that I was thinking of putting on the Valiant, but I bought 4 Valiant dog dish from memike, so maybe I will alternate between the two. I'll take a picture when I get home of the 62 caps.

Good morning JR 8) I like the old spoon dish aluminum slot's myself :happy10:
No unalug :angry7: I will never own another set of those ever again

It's not an early A 4-door. Here's mine on Chrome Road Wheels (aka Magnum 500s). These are 15 x7 w/ 205/60-15 tires. The wheels look good with narrow w/w like the 13s pictured on your car.

Id say stock GT wheelcovers would be a nice touch....pretty much the same thing I did with my Valiant wagon.....just went to 14" 'S' wheels and wheelcovers.....really set the car off....moreso than the slots.

yeah, the news chopper flew over an A-body....dont know what year, but I recognized it......from the underside =(

This is what I have, 17x7 215/40 front and 215/55 rear

This is what I ordered on Sat, 17x7 215/40 front and getting 245/45 rear.
Coys C-5 polished.

No turning issues, but I cant go much taller/wider than 215/40 in the front without rubbing the front of the fender. A 45 may work but my driver side fender is pushed back slightly. I would like a wider rear and could fit a 255/45 but not on the 7'', so I guess 245 it is. 245 is still pushing it I'm told. I just want to fill the fender as much as I can in the rear.

Lower I think will be fine too because it pushes that corner that rubs down past the widest part of the circumference. I will post pics in a couple of weeks for you.

15"x7" factory steelies,white letter out tires,no caps.
Give it a mean look. :pirate:

Then maybe a 225/60-15 all the way around.

Sorry not a 4 door.

Hellion Locdogg, I really like that Dart! Nice job on it!

Here's my 65 Valiant, with steels all around, and Valiant dog dishes. They came off memike's 66 Valiant.
