Early A's getting pricey

I'm not defending the guys in the white tent, but in 2006 I found a near mint (we're talking no pits, just a little peppering and still has a lot of original paint) '65 rear chrome piece, the center section, for $75 in that white tent. I couldn't believe it! I walked away then realized what I had done and RAN back and bought it. In 7 years of owning my car that's the nicest one I've seen that wasn't re-chromed.

You can find deals anywhere, you just have to look hard.

the guys in the white tent arent so cheap any more,, this year they had that same rear window center trim piece,,im sure its the one i got out bid on on e bag,, most perfect piece iver ever seen,,they couldnt come to a price to sell it at,,,i just left shaking my head,,those 66 tail lites they have and have had for years,, that are 875.00 for the pair are starting to pit along the edge,,,

many many years ago i lived in chicago ill,,,and i chased them to a meet in ohio some place,,,maybe the nats, to find that the parts they say they had was completely wrong,,,,i cant figure out how they stayed in busniesss this long
