I have a 1966 dart 273/904. The problem is a previous owner left a pair of torque convertor to flex plate bolts loose and they damaged the threads in the torque convertor. Best case I can retap the holes in the convertor. Worst case I have to replace the mounts on the convertor or the entire convertor.

Here is the question what convertors will also fit a 1966 904 from a 273. I recall hearing it has the same small crank register issues as the slants, does an early slant convertor fit a 273? I have several small register slant convertor, but that is the only v8 car that I have had so I don't have any spares. I realize stall speed will be off, but at present it is not drivable and it needs to be able to move around the property on its own.

Thanks in advance

Any of the '67 and earlier 273 and slant 6 904 convertors will swap. The stall speeds have more to do with horsepower than any major internal differences.
