I saw an article on one of the forums that showed someone take and put the 360 with headers installed and attached it to the K member loosely. They then took a roll around hydraulic engine hoist and lifted the front of the car using the front bumper brackets and a sling. They put the engine mounted on the k member and put it on roll around moving cart and slid it under the car and then just lowered the hydraulic engine hoist till it touched, inserted k member bolts, and then put the front suspension back under it.
Looked easy but has anyone tried this?

It's how the factory did it......Roughly speaking......
I've done it lots of times.
A very slick way to install the whole package without scratching the paint in your engine compartment.

I do this all the time its very easy and i think a better way to fit the entire assembly into the vehicle. Also it gives you a lot of room to work around the engine before final install for rechecking.
