my dad told me this yrs ago,he was a smart man
on the gauges, get a 6Volt square lantern battery, the one with the 2 springs on top,get 2 wires with clips on both ends, hook on the wires to the studs on the gauge, the gauge will go up,when it reaches max take off one wire,it will go back down, gauge is good,
for amp gauge, hook up neg side to neg on battery, just touch pos wire on stud a few times,it will jiggle towards the + side, its good
never use 12 volts as you can burn up the gauge
on the speedo, get a end of a cable off a junk car, brand X cars work so you dont destroy a good mopar cable for someone who needs one :love7:,bout a foot, put it in a drill
shoot some lube in the speedo where the cable goes and insert cable
put drill on reverse and hit it,the needle will read a steady mph and you will see the 10ths # rolling over
if the needle bounces all over the place,or the cable binds right away,it needs some work
this works best when the cluster is out on a table/bench
hope this helps ya,THANKS DAD!!
